The lid compartment can be removed and either attached to the front of the shoulder straps as a front pocket or used separately as a shoulder bag. In addition, the backpack now has a large, voluminous front pocket that makes it quick and easy to stow a jacket. The base of The backpack is made from robust CORDURA® and reinforced on The inside with a second layer of fabric. The cut of the pack prevents water from penetrating this important area thanks to the raised bottom seam at the side. The backpack has a PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish.
