Wechsel Trailrunner

Wechsel Trailrunner is a hybrid tent for 1.5 people. Part of the Wechsel TRAVEL LINE range of tents, which meets all the needs of easy weekend trips or more ambitious hiking tours. The tents in this range feature handy entrances, generous sleeping lengths and plenty of storage space.

This tent features an external pole and the tent is hung from the pole by means of a series of clips. The inner and outer are already connected so ptiching can be done together. This design speeds up the process of pitching your tent and then taking it down again.

There is an additional ridge pole that offers good headroom in the inner tent.

This design also has a useful vestibule for wet kit, etc.. Two aluminum hubs at the poles ensure high wind stability.

Mosquito mesh protects the doors and also at both the head and foot end of the tent. This feature ensures good ventilation within the tent.

The packing size can be optimized for bike use. Its short packed length allows the tent to fit well in a handlebar roll. The rainproof pack sack can also be attached directly to the handlebar with straps. By removing the poles, the length of the stuff sack is reduced to 25cm and the poles can be stowed separately where they possibly fit better, e.g. in a frame bag.

On short trip of 1 or 2 nights the Trailrunner can accommodate 2 friends, who do not mind the close proximity of one another.
